Wimbledon Guitar Society
An evening recital supported by the Tillett Trust. Arie Dakesian will present a solo programme in the first half oncluding compositions and arrangements, which will be followed by a second half of guitar and violin music. The ArNor Duo (Polina Sharafyan, Arie Dakesian) will present a varied programme with Arie’s brand new arrangements of Armenian Folk Miniatures originally for string quartet as a centrepiece. Another Fcking Blue Z0ne is by James Andrew Walsh, and Arie has been commissioned two write to new pieces for the project. An initial reading is scheduled at Jerwood Place with hopes of making it into a movie in the coming year. Original music by Arie Dakesian.
