Meet the ArNor Duo

The ArNor Duo was founded earlier this year with a shared mission: to breathe new life into timeless masterpieces while illuminating contemporary works. With a common Armenian heritage, our project naturally centres on Armenian music with a fresh interpretation of the 14 Folk Miniatures by Komitas, interwoven with vibrant new music emerging from our home country today.

With upcoming concerts across the UK, France, Germany, and more, we present a programme defined by discovery—new arrangements, original works, potential commissions, world premieres, and more.

Created by Polina Sharafyan and Arie Dakesian—both accomplished soloists—the duo was born from a mutual love of chamber music and a shared curiosity of folk music from all corners of the world. This vision lies at the heart of the ArNor Duo and will continue to guide all future projects.
